Tokyo Thursday 17th April 2003
Zentek Technology Group (President & CEO: Shozo Ohtani) announces the launch of the English language version of i-JADE Basic for P504i, the latest release in their highly successful i-JADE series of emulators. The English language version of i-JADE is now available for US$99.00 on Handango, one of the most popular sites in the U.S. offering software downloads for mobile devices and PDAs. See http://www.handango.com/jade for sales.
i-JADE Basic for P504i, English Version is an emulator that supports creation of i-appli for NTT DoCoMos P504i, one of 504i series of i-mode-enabled (Internet service-enabled) handsets. Zenteks i-JADE has been widely used and appreciated by content creators; it has become an essential and de-facto standard tool for mobile Java application development in Japan since Zentek started providing i-JADE Lite in January 2001.
i-JADE Basic for P504i allows for compelling applications to be developed without an i-mode handset or even access to the i-mode network. i-JADE Basic for P504i includes the DoJa 2.0 API, which is newly defined in the NTT DoCoMo 504i handset series. In addition to accurately reproducing each handset's characteristics and behavior, full support of i-mode-specific emoji (pictographs) is also included.
The availability of i-JADE English version will be a significant step for Zentek to expand its global sales of the JADE Series. The product is expected to contribute to the growth of the Java application market, particularly in Asia-Pacific and European regions where mobile Java services have recently been introduced. Enfour, Inc will cooperate with Zentek to co-marketing and support i-JADE Basic P504i English version.
