Today, Enfour announces the release of "UniFEP Light Japanese", a complete display and input system for Japanese (phonetics and Chinese characters) for the Symbian OS (EPOC ER5).

UniFEP Light is a series of online products from Enfour in the UniFEP family of multilingual input solutions for mobile devices. UniFEP Light series does not include localization, but allows users to create and view files, send and receive emails, view Web pages and beam contact information in the language it supports. Integration into the main EPOC productivity applications and support in most third-party applications is achieved by major additions to the Operating System to enabled Unicode at the system display level.
